SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Rock Director of Athletics Paul Lueken announced Wednesday that Amy Badorf has been named as the new Assistant to the Athletic Director for Compliance.

Badorf, who will begin her new job on July 28, joins The Rock staff after completing an 18-month compliance internship at Villanova University in Philadelphia.

Prior to serving her internship at Villanova, Badorf served as graduate assistant to SRU alumnus Frances Nee, the Associate Athletic Director/Compliance Officer at Indiana U. of Pa.

Badorf received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in sport management from IUP, where she was a volleyball student-athlete, member of the Graduate Student Assembly and earned Dean's List status in the classroom.

Prior to her senior year at IUP, Badorf served a sports administration internship at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.
