McHenry, Rhoades receive Daktronics all-region honors
Senior outfielder Meghan McHenry was named to first-team honors by the region's sports information directors, while senior shortstop Stacey Rhoades earned second-team utility player status

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Rock senior co-captains Meghan McHenry and Stacey Rhoades were named Wednesday to Mid-Atlantic all-region honors by Daktronics Inc. in voting by the region's sports information directors.
McHenry was named to first-team status as an outfielder, while Rhoades received second-team honors as a utility player.
The all-region honors came only hours after both McHenry and Rhoades received first-team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division honors from the division's head coaches.
McHenry is batting .359 with seven doubles, eight home runs and and a team-best 37 RBIs this spring.
Rhoades has compiled a team-best .376 batting average with five doubles, a team-best nine home runs and 34 RBIs this season.
The duo led SRU to a school record 27 wins and a first-ever berth in NCAA Division II postseason competition.
SRU took a 27-16 overall record into Thursday morning's Mid-Atlantic Regional elimination game vs. Shippensburg.
